Terms of Service

Effective July 28, 2026. These Terms govern your use of AlphaDog’s research product, credits wallet, monthly subscriptions, and one-time credit packs.

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and AlphaDog for use of getalphadog.com and the AlphaDog research product (the “Service”). By creating an account, signing in, buying credits, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Questions: hello@getalphadog.com.

2. The Service

AlphaDog provides AI-assisted due diligence on US-listed equities. A typical run fans out across market data, SEC filings, financials, news, ownership, deterministic scoring, valuation, catalysts, narrative synthesis, fact-checking, bull/bear debate, and related features such as report chat, watchlists, alerts, Discover theme search, and optional custom analysis instructions.

We may also publish a limited set of curated free public reports (often selected from upcoming earnings calendars, or from a manual list) at stable URLs such as /analysis/{TICKER}. Guests can browse a short recent list on the landing page; signed-in users see a longer recent list. Most other tickers still require you to sign in and spend credits to generate a report.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, models, data sources, credit prices, or pack offerings at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice for material pricing changes that affect future purchases; we are not obligated to keep historical UI, prompts, or third-party data feeds unchanged.

The Service depends on third-party providers (including cloud hosting, AI models, payments, and market-data vendors). Outages, rate limits, entitlement gaps, or inaccurate upstream data can affect results. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

3. Not investment advice

AlphaDog is a research and information tool only. Nothing in the Service — including verdicts (Buy / Hold / Avoid or similar labels), scores, price targets, debate essays, chat answers, Discover rankings, alerts, free public reports, or landing teasers — is investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security.

We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or fiduciary. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions and for complying with laws that apply to you. Past performance and historical backtests do not guarantee future results. Investing involves risk of loss, including loss of principal.

Always verify material facts against primary sources before acting. AI-generated text can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong even when citations are present.

4. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use the Service. If you use AlphaDog on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.

You may sign in with Google OAuth or an email/password account. You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential, and notify us promptly of unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account.

We may refuse registration, reclaim usernames, or suspend accounts that appear abusive, automated without permission, or in breach of these Terms.

5. Credits, subscriptions, packs, and billing

New accounts typically receive a signup wallet of 5 credits (subject to change). Credits are a product wallet used inside AlphaDog — not cash, not a bank deposit, and not transferable except as we expressly allow.

Current credit costs (display credits): 1 per fresh analysis; 0.25 to open another user’s recent community report for the same ticker (when offered); 0.5 per Discover query. A minimum balance may be required to start a fresh run. Costs may change prospectively.

Paid access is sold primarily as monthly subscriptions (Starter, Researcher, Investor, and Pro) that grant wallet credits each billing cycle. Subscriptions auto-renew monthly until you cancel. You can cancel anytime via Manage billing; your plan remains active through the current period end. Credits already granted stay in your wallet and do not expire under our current policy. Unused credits stack across renewals.

One-time credit packs (same plan names) remain available as a secondary purchase option. Pack prices and credit amounts are shown on the pricing and credits pages at purchase time.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Taxes may apply based on your location. Except where required by law or where we refund credits to your wallet because a run failed, was cancelled, became stale, or could not be dispatched, purchases are generally non-refundable as cash. Chargebacks or payment disputes may result in account suspension until resolved. Stripe refunds do not automatically remove credits already granted to your wallet.

We may correct obvious pricing or credit-grant errors, claw back credits granted in error or obtained fraudulently, and refuse fulfillment that violates these Terms or Stripe’s rules.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes, market manipulation, or to provide regulated advice to others without required licenses.
  • Scrape, bulk-export, or systematically redistribute AlphaDog reports, citations, or underlying vendor data in a way that violates our providers’ terms or these Terms — including bulk harvesting of /analysis/* pages or the free landing list to rebuild a competing feed.
  • Probe, overload, or disrupt the Service; bypass rate limits, paywalls, or credit checks; or reverse engineer the Service except where law prohibits that restriction.
  • Upload or instruct custom prompts that include others’ personal data without a lawful basis, or content that is illegal, infringing, or abusive.
  • Misrepresent AlphaDog outputs as independent human research, guaranteed forecasts, or personalized investment advice from a licensed adviser.
  • Share account credentials or resell access without our written permission.

7. Your content and our IP

You retain rights to content you submit (for example custom analysis instructions and feedback). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and use that content to operate and improve the Service, including sending necessary snippets to AI and data providers.

AlphaDog, our logos, UI, prompts, scoring logic, and software are owned by us or our licensors. Subject to these Terms and your credit balance, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service and to keep reports generated for your account for your own internal research.

Free public reports are licensed for personal research viewing and ordinary sharing of the AlphaDog URL (for example posting a link on Reddit). That is not a grant to scrape, republish the full report text as your own product, or resell access. Public market data and third-party articles remain subject to their owners’ rights; citations and links do not transfer those rights to you, and we do not transfer Finnhub, FMP, Massive, Yahoo, or other vendor licenses to visitors.

8. Sharing, community reports, and publicity

If you enable or we publish a public share link for a report, that report (or a sample) may be viewable by anyone with the URL. You are responsible for what you choose to share.

Separately, AlphaDog may operate a curated free public corpus at /analysis/[ticker] that is not tied to your private account history.

Community access may let another signed-in user pay credits to obtain a copy of a recent completed report for the same ticker. That does not sell your identity to them, but the research content may be reused under that product feature.

We may use anonymized or aggregated usage metrics publicly. We will not use your name or logo as a customer reference without permission, except as needed to identify the Service itself.

9. AI and data accuracy

Reports are produced by automated pipelines and large language models. They may omit risks, misread filings, invent plausible-sounding details, or lag live markets. Deterministic scores and forensic metrics can still be wrong if inputs are missing or stale.

Free public reports may be days old relative to live markets. Live quotes in the UI may differ from prices frozen at analysis time. Treat “live when you read it / frozen when we analyzed it” as a product behavior, not a guarantee of tick-by-tick accuracy.

You should not rely on the Service as your sole source of truth for trading, compliance, or disclosure decisions.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. To request account deletion, email us; see the Privacy Policy for how we handle deletion and retained records.

We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these Terms, if required by law or a provider, or if continuing would create security, legal, or operational risk. Unused credits are not cash-redeemable on termination except where law requires otherwise.

Sections that by nature should survive (including not-advice disclaimers, IP, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law) survive termination.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT REPORTS, SCORES, VERDICTS, OR DATA ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, CURRENT, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY INVESTMENT PURPOSE.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALPHADOG AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, TRADING LOSSES, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO ALPHADOG FOR CREDIT PACKS IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.

13. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify AlphaDog and its operators against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, your investment decisions, your content, your public sharing, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Changes; governing law

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page and updating the effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction to protect our IP or the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms plus the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement regarding the Service and supersede prior conflicting terms.
